Cade and Isabel met in 7th grade when Cade switched from Trinity Christian School to Lee-Scott Academy. Over the next few years, the two became friends and were a part of the same friend group. At the end of their junior year in 2021, Cade asked Isabel out on their first date. The two have been together for the last 5 years, with 4 out of the 5 being long-distance.

After graduating high school in May of 2022, Isabel and Cade went their separate ways to pursue their dreams while still remaining together in a relationship. Isabel did her freshman year at the University of Mississippi, while Cade stayed back in Auburn to be a part of the ROTC program. Isabel decided to transfer back home to Auburn for her sophomore year, and Cade had been accepted to the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. The summer of 2023, Cade left for West Point to start basic training where the two had no contact for 6 weeks aside from sending hand-written letters to each other. Isabel wrote Cade a letter every single day for 42 days. The two were reunited for a short weekend in August of 2023, where they would begin a new chapter of long distance until May 2027.
During Isabel's time at Auburn, she pursued a degree in Animal Sciences, Equine Sciences and graduated in the spring of 2026. Isabel is a proud member of Auburn's D1 Equestrian team, and is very thankful for the friendships she has made with her teammates, as well as the structure the team has given her.
Meanwhile, as Cade is at West Point, he is studying for a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is set to graduate in the spring of 2027 as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army with hopes to branch Aviation, Field Artillery, or Corps of Engineers.
Though both Isabel and Cade agree that long distance has not been easy, they are grateful for what they have been able to learn throughout it and how it has strengthened their relationship. The two are eager for the day they can finally say goodbye to long distance and be together again.
